1) after last seasons happenings and all the positive pub the giants got by not resting players, and the end result I think a LOT of teams will shy away from this. Mainly because of the players wanting to play2) I can see CJ3 sitting due to being a rookie and everything.....no way they sit Lendale. He knows he is running for his job be it in Tenny or with another team in the future. He would probably starve himself if it meant getting 90% of the carries in a game.Johnson is really the only one I would worry about for a week 16 SBweek 16 game against Steelers. I'm quite concerned about the Bears with the Titans injuries. Collins sat today. Bosch and Bullock are day to day. Amano, Kearse, and Fowler all sore-as Fisher called it, from missing time last week. My concern would go away if Rex has to throw against that D. Indy has their backs to the wall a bit and the Steelers have Roth's hand hurting, Parker not quite 100%(IMO). Could be two L's this week.Otherwise, I think both teams can win the rest of their games.Jags seem to have more hurt players each week with none getting better. Jets will give the Titans probs. Indy game is week 17 so it's somewhat irrelevant.Pats and Cowboys have had some awful weeks so the Steelers could conceivably beat them.To reiterate something-if either team loses their QB, I'm concerned and it all changes.
another point on that theme, after what happened to Indy the year they shut it down early after locking up home field and came into playoffs flat, unable to crank it up again, I wonder how many teams will really shut it down completely except for some of week 17.On the other hand, CJs wk 16 matchup ain't so good.1) after last seasons happenings and all the positive pub the giants got by not resting players, and the end result I think a LOT of teams will shy away from this. If you listen to some wise comments, Mawae and Collins are 90 so they could probably use the rest.I would figure anyone injured (like Bosch now) rests to heal up. This is very hard to predict in advanceJohnson is really the only one I would worry about for a week 16 SB
that (just playoffs) is very soon. 1 week for every Colt lossHow Soon Can TEN lock up playoffs
The Giants had a chance to stop history being made(to glorify it a bit) then and again in the Supe by trying to beat an undefeated team. It's not like they suited up to play the Lions in week 17. Fisher is a highly regarded excellent coach. I do not imagine any of the 32 teams have a plan as to how to prepare for the playoffs if they're undefeated then or only have 1 loss. It has to seem like a dream scenario. Titans fans will just have to trust that Fisher knows best.another point on that theme, after what happened to Indy the year they shut it down early after locking up home field and came into playoffs flat, unable to crank it up again, I wonder how many teams will really shut it down completely except for some of week 17.On the other hand, CJs wk 16 matchup ain't so good.1) after last seasons happenings and all the positive pub the giants got by not resting players, and the end result I think a LOT of teams will shy away from this. well then rest easy because i don't think the Titans will let Forte beat themCJ will not play week 16 as TEN will have clinched the week or two prior, and Pitt will be playing for the OTHER bye week and load up to stop LWhiteBri said:week 16 game against Steelers.

I don't either but, I am figuring this could be a super low scoring game. a 7-0 or 10-7 game. Just the same, those Bears defenders are a terrific run D and will be fired up to stop the Titans excellent rushing attack. Plus more and more the Titans OL is being considerred one of the best. They'll be fired up to go against them too.I hope Fisher lets the D blitz this week. I prefer that over the way he's played recently with not blitzing and almost a glorified prevent D. I am almost certain Rex can't handle the pass rush and make sharp enough throws against those DBs. Orton has improved so much, I'm intrigued about him with the same challenge. I would not be surprised if the Titans score a TD or two(or almost score like INT run back to the 20) on defense. In the fictitious they're due scenario-There were more dropped INTs last week than I can ever recall seeing in a game. I would guess more than 10, not quite 20.well then rest easy because i don't think the Titans will let Forte beat them
They will want to play for home field advantage throughout the playoffs, not just the division. They have a two game lead on the Jets and possibly/probably three after this weekend (and three game lead on Pitts/Balt). Just another reason to root for the Jets next week.UPDATE: TEN is now 9-0 for TEN. The next closest division team is IND at 5-4. The next closest DIV leader is at 6-3. I still think we could see only a couple of quarter's play from Lendale and CJ possibly as early as week 14 if this continues.
