How soon do you draft the up and coming STUDS? (1 Viewer)

Such as BJ Upton, Jeremy Bonderman, Brandon Phillips, etc.

These don't have a long proven track record by any means, but they've showed the beginnings of STUD seasons.

When do you jump on them?

Depends, REdraft or keeper?

Keeper league - as early as possible if you are convinced they will be a stud in the future

This is likely Bossman Junior's last year with 2B eligibility. Both he and Phillips come with some risk but they're solidly in the second tier after Utley. Spending a second rounder on them could be a season breaker for some teams.

:sadbanana:
The guy is only 25, throws smoke, and is on a team that is going to win A LOT of games. In the 1st half last year, he was 9-1 with a 3.69 ERA. Yeah, he struggled in the 2nd half but that's what keep him from being a highly drafted guy. I can see 15 wins with a ton of K's this year.

I can see that with alot of pitchers.

...but not so many that are drafted in the 13th round and later.
