How to handle playoff qualification? (1 Viewer)

So, I just joined a league with 10 teams where 6 make the playoffs. Never played with that setup before, and was wondering how you folks with this setup handle qualification? Two divisions of 5 teams each...

1) Division Winners and four wild cards?

2) Top 2 in each division plus two wild cards?

3) Top 3 in each division?

4) Other (with suggestion)?

What have you found works best? Thanks for your insights.

with a 10 team league and 6 playoff spots, i like to give 2 1st round byes. (in 12 teamers too). when 60% of the league is making the playoffs a 1st round bye seems like the least you can do for the top reg. season teams.

i don't usually use wildcards, but that's not a bad idea. in a 10-teamer, i'm not sure it's necessary because 8 out a teams 13 reg. seaon games are within the division.
