How Will Raiders Cover Antonio Gates? (1 Viewer)

This week's matchup between San Diego and Oakland presents an interesting challenge for the Raiders defense going against the top TE in the league.

I gotta believe if OAK runs any type of zone that Gates would tear it apart.

It would seem that with only average WR's, a "box and one" type thing might work, but who would have the primary responsibility of covering Gates?

That guy could have a monster IDP game.

Is this the week we have a Thomas Howard sighting? Asomogha's skills seem wasted on SD's WR's, but way too small. Branch has the size but from what I've seen lacks coverage ability. Huff?

It would be interesting to hear some opinions from the board.

Also, over in the Raider homer thread there is mention of Mike Mitchell, who appears to be a S/LB hybrid. Maybe he gets some extended playing time.
