I have been offered Braun and Hermida for Puljos and Smoltz

With the concern over Puljos's health and the fact the Cardinals are probably going to stink, Smoltz may have some issues with the shoulder, Braun's potential of a full season and the fact I need outfield help desperatley and am pretty strong at pitching would you consider this a good trade for me?

I don't think the Albert PUJOLS/Clay Buchholz Frankenstein experiment will be good for the MLB.

Just razzing ya.First, how is your pitching looking? Can you afford to lose Smoltz? Is this a re-draft or a dynasty? If it's a dynasty, then this is a good deal. Re-draft, it depends.

It is a re-draft NL lonly league and I believe pitching is my strength ( we can carry 9 and I have Webb, Smoltz, Penny, Lincecum, Billingsley, Francis, Valverde, Isringhausen, Marmol). I am very weak in outfield, but have good depth at corner positions Pujols (I won't forget how to spell that name again), Fielder and Glaus.

Little concerned over Albert's elbow and the Cards stinking.

That's not nearly enough for Pujols. Plus, Braun probably won't play enough 3B to be eligible at that position in 2009 (important to note if it's a keeper league). Even in some redraft leagues he might not be eligible at 3B for 2008 (most he probably is however). I know Pujols injury risk is high, but I wouldn't pull th trigger on that trade.
