Damon Huard is playing against the Rams in St. Louis this weekend. Huard has been very consistent, and carries a good TD to INT ratio. He had two bad games when he was on the road, but he just had his career high passing over 300+ yards last week; 17 of 25 passes. The Rams gave up a 1,511 passing yards for the season, and is considered one of the mediocre pass defenses. Huard's targets are TGon, LJ, and Kennison.

Tony Romo is playing the Redskins in Washington this weekend. Romo settled down in the 2nd half of the game last week against the Panthers in Carolina and posted some nice stats; completed 24 of 36 passes. The Redskins gave up 1,674 yards thru the air this season, so their pass defense is a suspect. ROMo's targets are TO, Glenn, and Witten.

I'm leaning toward ROMO, since he seems to be throwing the ball more.

What do you guys think?

I just picked up Romo so I am hoping he has the better day. The injuries to the skins defense are encouraging for Romo owners....but realistically, Huard has been so consistent, I would think he is a safer play if you have the choice.

The Mods will either lock or move this thread shortly.

Try putting this in the correct forum & you might get more responses.

There are tons of threads like this, just more cleverly disguised.
Seriously, I wish some of these guys would lighten up. Over 2/3 of the posts in this forum are whom is better than whom threads... it's all in how you word them.To answer the question, I'd probably go with Romo. I'm afraid KC will find out early that they can run all over St. Louis and never look back (expect a huge day from LJ). I'm just upset because I had the choice between Roethlisberger and Romo on the waiver wire two weeks ago and chose Big Ben.

:goodposting: Nice to see a guy who snatched WW gold, but is still realistic about it. I'm starting Romo over Big Ben this week. (Roth has had some troubles and is facing Denver.) And in the league where I have Huard, I'm starting him over both other options on a bye. Now if this question is the WDIS that it seems to be and they are both on the WW, I'd go with Romo because he's more likely to continue to be a starter, where Huard will probably sit in a couple more weeks.

I'd rather go with the "proven" commodity in Huard, as opposed to the one-week-wonder.

Not that I'm saying Romo's a bust -- just that I'd like to see him play more than 1 game before starting him.
