Normally I say always play your studs, but I'm going to make an exception today.

Brees doesn't play as well on the road, he seems to play well every other week and he played great last week, and there's supposed to be 35mph winds and strong storms today in Tampa. Add the fact that TB is #2 ranked pass defense only giving up 174 ypg, and that is too many things going against Brees today.

I'm starting Favre over Brees in one league, and Big Ben over him in another.

I know I may regret this, but sometimes you just have to go with your gut (with some brain factoring in ) on these things.

Yeah, that was my logic last week before he shredded Greenbay's #3 ranked pass defense. Dude is playing out of his mind right now. Not benching him for anybody and you shouldn't either.

For Brees, this is a terrible game.

For Brees yes, so farBut if your alternative was Campbell, I think you made the right choice. He is doing better than a lot of alternatives out there, which was the main argument against benching him this week. A bad game for Brees is likely an average game for your alternative

I didn't jump the gun. I didn't say he was going to have a bad day. I merely said what he had produced until the last drive was pretty sub-par for Brees. *pat pat* He's on pace for 20.4 points in my league. We only get 1 point per 25 yards.

It's not just a weather game, it's a game against a top defense on the road. Brees has played decent, not bad at all. He could still end up with over 20 pts in my league, or he cold throw another pick and end up with 13-15. I think I can get better production from Favre and Big Ben today.

Brees has done much better than anticipated. 3 picks hurts, but he came through with great yards and a pair of TDs. I can't complain! He had a very tough matchup
