Also, I am sick of hearing the Sox/Yankee is the best rivally. It's baseball, get really. It's a no contact sissy sport. Quit telling me how great it is. It's like saying two chicks making out is great and then the chicks turn out to be Rose O'Donnell and Rosanne.
I, on the other hand, love America.
I swear no one with an IQ over 80 can watch baseball.
Actually, it's just the opposite. An 80 IQ lets you enjoy something like football or boxing--"hit'em harder!" Baseball is cerebral--to enjoy it you need to understand what's going on. It's not just hitting the ball as far as you can. It's the interplay between the pitcher and the batter, the strategy of the baserunner, the positioning of the fielders, the chess game between the managers with pinch-hitters and relief pitchers, and a dozen other variables.
My wife hated baseball when we met and thought it was boring. It took some time and some explaining of what was going on with all the nuances to allow her to understand the game, but eventually she got it. Maybe someday somebody will educate you, too.
