Not a homer, but an owner. My Bro and one of his sons are diehard Bronco fans. The way I hear/read it, Shanny blamed the DL as mush as Williams for Wayne's performance. It was truly pathetic and embarrassing for Williams and I would guess Shanahan didn't want to hurt his confidence any worse than what already had happened. I think Williams is a very good young corner, and weeks like that happen. Foxworth is pretty decent himself, but I don't think Williams is about to lose his job. He may get a little more help in coverage, but I'm starting him again.

not a chance, if that was the case, then Lynch would be in trouble too b/c most of the plays that he got burned on were plays were Lynch was supposed to provide over the top help. think about it, after the first td, then the 2nd td, Broncos coaches aren't that dumb that they don't know they need to adjust, to bad the players didnt though.Williams is fine, they really like the kid, he's having a sub par year for sure compared to last year, but unless he gets torched again by Nate Washington/Cedric Wilson, he's fine.
