I just threw up in my mouth a little bit (1 Viewer)

Zantac is my answer to this. Used to happen all the time and still can if I forget to take a pill before bed and eat or drink too late at night.

I popped 4 tums before I went to bed and still happened. Too much of the wrong food before bed. Im guessing a couple snicker ice cream bars coupled with a few lemon oreos did it. Im thinking the oreos are the culprit.

Tums are for immediate short term relief and don't last. Plus in general the calcium in them contributes to the build up for kidney stones.

I like to have two plates of spaghetti and meatballs, drowned in red sauce, and a towering glass of orange juice right before I hop in the sack.

This cure may not be for everyone, but it has worked for me for the last four years... give up coffee. The acid in my usual 2-3 cups in the morning was enough to make me miserable at night. I've had virtually no recurrences since.

Potatoes is the only thing that goes this to me. I try to avoid french fries and baked potatoes these days.

Tums doesn't do crap. As mentioned above Zantac is the way to go. Works better than Pepcid imo.
