Wow...I had no idea a simple request would cause such a controvery. I am fine if Joe and Co. did nothing, they don't owe me or anyone else anything. I suggested because it made me feel better even if it was for just a second knowing the community (CowboyZone) I frequented showed support. The out pouring of feedback from Redskins fans back has been tremendous. Here is my post over there in a thread thanking the Mods for changing the colors. (CBZ is a reference to myself).

I am late to this thread and I am sure no one will respond to this particular entry, but this entry is for me. So please forgive me while I am selfish for a minute and talk from my heart.
As a fan of the Cowboys it is natural to dislike anything Redskins. I was and am no different in this regard to any other fan to be honest. My dislike of their team does not come from any real world experience. In fact I don't believe I know a single Washington fan in real life. However, as a die hard Cowboy fan you learn quickly and early on that we are not to like them. Sometimes for good reasons.....especially when they beat us.
Today was a really sad day for me, maybe because I also lost my Dad recently. I felt disconnected, distracted, reflective and full of sorrow. I feel for the fans and most for his family and daughter left behind.
OK...CBZ....make a point you are rambling. I have come to realize in my reflections today that my dislike for Washingon is nothing more than sibling rivalry. They piss me off a lot but ultimately I have respect for them and always will. Sean Taylor was a young, strong, and talented man who died way too young and for no good reason.
I am so proud to be a Cowboy fan today with how we have reacted to the loss. Today I stand beside my Brothers the Washington Redskins, and for that it gives me some comfort and I hope for them too. They get my love, empathy, understanding, good thoughts and my hope for better days ahead.
Thank you guys for flying their colors here at the Zone, it never looked so beautiful. RIP Sean.
ps...Your hit on Moorman is one of my favorite plays ever!
