I never really liked Peyton but always respected Manning as a QB, but I never realized how much he controlled the tempo of a game until he has been out this year. And how much I truly miss watching him play.

The Colts defense was always coming in fresh because of the TOP that Manning created, and you knew the Colts were going to be in every game they play with many coming down to the end.

Hopefully he comes back 100% and provides the NFL with a spark.

Working backwards, Indy's TOP the last three years with Manning was 21, 26, and 25. I agree that a good offense helps the defense but with Manning running the non-huddle I think it had more to do with playing with a lead than TOP.
