I recently hit a new bench max of 155 at the gym (I weigh 140lbs). So I was eager to show up my newly acquired muscles (also, I was drunk). I go to punch the thing, rolling my shoulder and body weight into it, and I completely miss contact with my knuckles and the top of my wrist takes the majority of the blow.
I don't notice it much because I'm drunk at the time. But I wake up in excruciating pain. I can barely ball my right hand into a fist and I struggle to even write my name.
Ouch.
