Ranch home. A co-worker told me of an old Easter tradition where you throw a raw egg over your house. If it lands without breaking, you will receive good luck for the next year. I didn't think it was possible. Of nine of us at Easter, my 7 year old son and I both accomplished it, clearing the roof and the sunporch, landing in the grass unbroken.

Has anyone else heard of or done this tradition? And more importantly, is anyone as awesome as I clearly am?

It's the beginning of spring in PA.  The grass is a low, manageable level.

When you posted "toss eggs over house and they didn't break"  I'm pretty sure you meant "the neighborhood kids egged our house and the eggs broke all over my house.  Now my wife hates me even more."
