Bills | Spikes may Have Torn Achilles' TendonSun, 25 Sep 2005 18:24:25 -0700Matt Winkeljohn, of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, reports the Buffalo Bills fear that LB Takeo Spikes (Achilles') suffered a torn Achilles' tendon during the team's Week 3 game. He slammed his helmet to the turf following the injury, knowing that when the news becomes final upon further examination Monday, Sept. 26, it's not likely to be good.

Rotoworld: Rodney Harrison will miss the 2005 season with a torn ACL.
WBZ in Boston is also reporting that Rodney Harrison is out for the season. They are also saying the injury could be career-ending.

NYG pulled Gibril Wilson and Reggie Torbor at the end of the game against the Chargers for "mental mistakes"Supposedly, both will be back starting this week.The New York papers say Griessen might be in the mix at WLB this week.Emmons moving over to SLBWilson is safe (for now)More news to come after Wednesdays practice.Torbor might be out as a starter. They are blaming him for alot of the defensive failures right now.

I had Spikes AND Harrison on my team. We start five IDPs (LB, DB, DL and two flex) so I essentially lost 40% of my starting squad. So I'm basically screwed and will be playing waiver-wire roulette the rest of the season.

The bench and waiver wire is where the good FF players will show up at. Anyone can pick a top player but what seperates people is the backups and waivers.If you don't expect injuries on your FF team and prepare for them then sometimes people get what they deserve. Not saying this is the case for you.
