I'll update this post when I've sent your invite. If you haven't sent an email/PM by Saturday evening or signed into the league by Sunday afternoon, I'll replace you with one of the alternates.***

**Offensive scoring will include PPR. Defensive scoring will be league dependent as above. Scoring system can be found at the MFL league site. All offensive lineups will be QB/2RB/3WR/TE/PK with a single RB/WR/TE flex to total nine offensive starters. All defensive lineups will be 2DE/DT/3LB/2CB/2S with a single DE/LB/DB flex to total 11 defensive starters. All owners will draft 38 players during a slow MFL draft to begin Monday, July 27th. Initial draft order will be generated randomly and will not be final until I've posted it in this thread. There will be no positional restrictions and no trading of picks/players during the draft. The draft will have a 24 hour clock, but prompt drafting and the use of the predraft function is strongly encouraged and appreciated.

**Owners will not submit lineups. The best available lineup will be scored from your entire roster of players.

**This season's contest will be an all-play contest. Each team will play every other team each week. Total wins and losses will be added up over the eight week "season". The three teams with the highest record will advance to the final leg and draft immediately following MNF of Week 8.

**Prizes will be awarded to the top eight finishers in the final league. A full set of rules for the final league will be posted well in advance of the draft start.

Good luck everybody.

Hey Jene,

In the "Starting Lineup Setup" in the bylaws it lists that there are only 10 IDP starters instead of 11. Shouldn't all the IDP positions say 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, 2-3, 2-3 for starters like the offense is listed instead of just 1,2,3,2,2?

Won't MFL only count 10 IDP starters the way it is listed?

It's confusing to me, too.I've got the league set up to start 11 defensive players, though it doesn't show in the max starters boxes and rules. It was setup that way last year and a defensive flex was scored. There's something in the software that makes it impossible to setup a defensive flex and offensive flex at the same time.If it's not scored correctly during Week 1, I'll figure out what's changed on the website or make the changes manually. Thanks for asking.

I like this way better than the way it was done last year. And not just because I would have advanced if it was done this way last year.

:fishing: I agree. It'll be a better test of consistency and have just as much (and possibly more) strategy than last season. When I put together the rule set last year, I thought each of the non-IDP leagues would be survivor leagues. I could have (and possibly should have) amended our rule set after seeing theirs. It was fun last season with something riding on every single week, but most of the non-IDP all-play contests had plenty riding on them during their final weeks. I expect that to be the case with this group through eight weeks, too.

Jene I'm assuming that mfl will make position changes as needed? For example, Greg Ellis is listed as LB on mfl but he is being repositioned as a DE.

Last season, MFL used Rotoworld's depth charts to make changes midway through training camp. The depth charts have been spotty in the past, however, and we've successfully argued to overturn changes like Justin Smith's reclassification to LB last year. I'd use Rotoworld as a guide, but not gospel.
