My top 12 if the draft was held today: (PPr league)

1)Brian Westbrook

2) Adrian Peterson

3) Marion Barber

4) LT

5) Clinton Portis

6) Lynch

7) steven Jackson

8) Frank Gore

9) Brandon Marshall

10) Reggie Bush

11) Tony Romo

12) Willie Parker

On the bubble are Owens,Cutler, Peyton, Calvin Johnson, Wayne, Addia, Cris Johnson, Turner, Graham, Forte, Grant, Andre Johnson and Plax

Biggest drops in value so far:

Addia

Randy Moss

Braylon Edwards

I disagree with your Moss comment if you are implying he'd be drafted after every single player you mentioned. I think you are focusing on a single game and letting it sway you too much. Just MHO.

ADP

Westbrook

Barber

Gore

Portis

Cutler (Real Deal)

Chris Johnson (Real Deal 2)

Marshall

Calvin Johnson

T.O

Romo

Manning

Not one to panic, but I think LT is hurt worse than SD is letting on and the bad start he had last year can't be compared to the bad start this year because this year is due to an injury, the type that usually lingers. Jackson is just on a horrible team and their passing game has diminished to the point where it no longer opens up the running game.

Gore is a talented back that is finally in a system that they can't stack the box and is getting the ball on a lot of screens and dump off passes in space. He will break a lot of long plays this year. Wouldn't normally put as many QBs and WRs in the top 12, but that just shows how much fantasy has changed in even the last couple years.

Agree that Moss and Edwards would be two of the players dropping the most. They were my first two picks (first time I ever went WR-WR) but both should be OK once Cassel gets more comfortable with being the starter and Edwards gets the rust off.........

I understand that most think Cutler is the real deal but why over Romo?Romo is as close to a lock to get 2 TD's a game at the minimum

How does Chris Johnson crack into the top 12 for some people?

The Chris Johnson owner in my league keeps trying to trade me (his) Johnson and Holmes for (my) Forte and I keep turning it down since I see Johnson a RBBC and Forte looks like a beast. I feel like i'm missing something. :goodposting:

This guy really wants Forte bad, huh?

B/c Johnson has looked fantastic in Tennessee. I've watched both Titan games this year, and it's clear that he's a special talent. His acceleration is video game like, and Fisher loves him. He's essentially ripped the RB job away from White, and is only going to get more carries as the season rolls on. Downside is that White will still vulture 10 touches per game, and likely some goal line carries, although I think the data shows that White isn't very effective at the GL despite his size. Think Ron Dayne. In PPR leagues, and leagues where long TDs are rewarded, CJ is fantasy gold. I'm not sure he'd go first round if the draft was held today, but I think he'd definitely go mid-to-late 2nd.

How is he a virtual lock for that when he already has a game this season with only 1?

of course there are no locks, but if you had to bet on who will get the most TD's i am aware Cutler has more so far but i would say even with Barber stealing a bunch of TD's Romo will have the most at years end, of course this is only MY opinion

I was just giving you a hard time... I'd be hard pressed not to agree with you. I see both he and Cutler coming close to 40. Rivers could also surprise us and be in the discussion as well if San Diego's defense doesn't step up.

Whats funny is that Rivers has 6 TD's and barely any of his WR's are roster worthy besides Chambers

To those questioning Chris Johnson.. I would compare him to MJDs breakout rookie year but with slightly more upside. Fisher likes to run the ball..and then run it some more. I think LBJ will be drafted early 2nd (at the latest) next year in most PPR redrafts, barring significant injury of course.

Unrelated, ADPs hammy has me worried. Almost took Barber over him at the 3 spot and I think I would do so today.

Just my opinion that he will actually have more opportunity for TD passes because the running game is not as strong as Dallas in close. Marion Barber as a goal-line back vs Michael Pittman? I know it's only two games into the season, but this guy looks amazing. Actually getting to watch both games in their entirity has been an eye opener for me to how good the kid really is. He has a great #1 receiver in Marshall, Royal looks good so far, Stokley is a solid slot guy and Sheffler an excellent receiving TE. I like Romo as well but if I had a choice at this point, I would give a slight edge to Cutler.Feel the same about Chris Johnson. Only two games, but he is a special player, so yeah, I would pass on guys like Jackson for him at this point. Like the fact that he and L. White had the same number of carries last week, but Johnson doubled the yardage. Looking at it from a coaching standpoint, why would you have Collins dumping off passes to White for 5 yards, when Johnson can take that same pass 50 yards? I think he will get to a 70/30 split vs White very soon. Will be fun to see how this plays out.........

A little surprised that Addai is not being mentioned. Saturday should return soon as will Dallas Clark making the offense more proficient meaning more scoring opportunities for Addai.

Kurt Warner is looking like a top 24 pick, who could outproduce all QB's this year. At this point, I would bet Warner outproduces Romo and Brees.

Reggie Bush looks like a top 3 fantasy player from here on out.

He is involved in almost every play for the Saints, should only get better in the coming weeks

Easily. The only guy debateable over Bush at #1 is Westbrook.
