Forget about whether Holmgren could have coached the Packers to a winning record last year (I seriously doubt it)...Do you guys think he could have reigned in Favre's game last year? Would we still have seen a 29 INT season from Favre with Holmgren at the helm?
How much stock do you put in the notion that (in recent years) Favre's coaches have treated him with too much respect and given him too much freedom? If Favre had a coach like Holmgren or Gruden that was ready and willing to chew him out every time that he just threw the ball up for grabs would there be significant decrease in the # of picks he threw? Or does it even matter who his coach is at this point in his career?
