If Miami had signed Drew Brees instead of Daunte (1 Viewer)

What would Lemmy do?
Miami had a chance to sign either Brees or Culp in the offseason, and opted for Culpepper. Brees isn't as athletically gifted as Culpepper, but he's got a good head on his shoulders and seems to be a solid field general.

Miami had a shot of winning both games so far - do you think they'd be in a better position with Brees at the helm or would they still be cellar dwellers?

I htink they'd have won both games.

IMO, C-Pepp's INTs directly resulted in taking Miami out of both games.

If Miami would have signed Brees they would be 3-0 right now. Let's compare week 1 performance:Culpepper 18/37, 262 yards, 2 int. against the SteelersBrees: 17/31, 176 yards, 1 TD, 1 int. against the BrownsAlthough Culpepper did screw up the Steeler game, I am not sure Brees would have fared much differently. I think Miami made the right choice in Daunte. Patience is a virtue.

I'm just giving you a hard time. As they say, the most popular player on team is the backup quarterback. In this case, I guess it is the free agent that was passed on.

They'd probably be 1-1, they would have beaten Pittsburgh. They just flat out left it all home against Buffalo.
