If SJax doesn't play, would Darby get a full work load? (1 Viewer)

Last week Darby went 14 carries for 49 yards with 1 TD. But Toston still got 11 for 22.

The praise (from Bradford and Spagnuolo) went to Darby so maybe he's locking up more of a featured role if Jackson sits?

My concern is not so much Darby or his carry share, but the matchup.
SEA doesn't bring it on the road.

Darby with first team

Kenneth Darby, who ran for 49 yards in the second half, including a 12-yard touchdown, in relief of Jackson on Sunday, got most of the work with the first-team offense Wednesday, although rookie Keith Toston was sprinkled in, too.

Still, Darby insisted that "my week is the same; nothing's changed. Before all this happened, I always took each week, each day of practice, as if I was going to start, even though I knew that may not happen. ... Just be ready whenever."

Darby called scoring his first touchdown his top NFL highlight — so far. "I really haven't had too many highlights in the NFL," he said. "But I've got a lot more to come."

And, he promised, he'll have a celebration planned for his next score. "I've got something coming," he said. "I already know what I'm going to do; it's going to be a surprise to everybody else."

Pressed for a hint, Darby said, "It's got to do with a shark; I'll just say that."

I think he's a reasonable play in PPR leagues...probably 70 total yards and 3 receptions. I wouldn't get carried away though.

I was thinking more the FF points allowed aspect.FF Pts by SEA opponents' RB's:

Week Rsh RshYD RshTD Rec RecYd RecTD FantPt

Mike Tolbert 3 17 73 0 3 17 0 9.00

Darren Sproles 3 1 16 0 1 10 0 2.60

Jacob Hester 3 0 0 0 1 2 0 0.20

Knowshon Moreno 2 24 51 1 4 67 0 17.80

Correll Buckhalter 2 11 19 1 0 0 0 7.90

Lance Ball 2 0 0 0 0 0 0 0.00

Frank Gore 1 17 38 0 6 45 0 8.30

Moran Norris 1 1 1 0 1 2 0 0.30

Anthony Dixon 1 0 0 0 0 0 0 0.00

I like the 2 TD's by DEN's RB's (in Denver) Week 2. But otherwise, not much.

But Seattle is 5th best in rushing yards allowed.
