If standard then..., if PPR then... ? (1 Viewer)

I always hear this saying on fantasy football shows or podcasts, but I have never really seen it thrown around the shark pool much. I play in standard leagues, but whenever I hear these guys typically throw that phrase around about a player, I always just go with the "PPR" player because it just makes more since to me that if you're going to pick a player because he's going to catch passes, then it should mean that player is going to get more opportunity and thus a greater chance of scoring more points.

Do you put any stock into system differential for choosing who to sit/start or add/drop?

Julian Edleman was the PPR poster child earlier this season... starting WR in PPR leagues... flex play (at best) in standard scoring leagues.

That's an extreme example, but yes - I think you always have to consider your scoring system when looking at who to start/sit.
