If you could "rewind" your life, would you? (1 Viewer)

Actually was thinking about this the other day, before I even saw this thread.

A couple of years out of college I was offered a job that I would have been happy taking, but I ended up getting offered even less money than what little I was making at the time. Tough decision turning it down, because the guy who would have been my boss was a mentor while I was in college and we remain friends to this day. I am sure I would have replaced him when he ultimately decided to change jobs a year or so later and I might even have still been happily in that job today. But that likely means I never would have crossed paths with my wife. And oddly enough, one of her close former co-workers had a husband who (many years later) ended up in the job I was offered. They likely never end up moving to the area if things had gone differently.

Oh, and that one women's soccer player instead of being more interested in her teammate. Pretty sure that would have been a small detour that wouldn't have changed anything today. But that's a different tangent.

Would it be different if you were 90 and on your deathbed?  Your kids 60+.  They had a life.

Would you hit the reset button?  Or oblivion.

This is something I thought my whole life about but for me it would serve no purpose cause I was two when it happened so even if I went back in time and I had knowledge of the events, it still would happen unless someone else would be able to pull me away from the car before it ran over me.  It has affected my whole life and I will die because of this was allowed to happen to me.
Jesus man, that's terrible.

No. I feel blessed to have the life I have right now and having lived through the things that got me here.

"If only I could have known then what I know now."  I'd gladly do it all over again, this time having a little wisdom rather than being a total bonehead.
