On dressing and the idea a single guy should dress differently than a married guy.

And to be clear, this is just my opinion. It may not be popular.

But I don't think you act any differently.

Meaning - Never stop dating your wife.

If you tried to be your best in the hopes she'd marry you, don't stop once you're married.

Dude are you asking me to stop farting in front of my wife.....I will literally explode if that happens......that's non negotiable.

But the rest I am cool with. We have a date night every weekend. Going on 26 years of a fantastic marriage. It's till death do us part......absolutely zero doubt.

Nearly impossible to stop altogether, but I try to avoid it in close quarters, and make it discrete. Roughly the same standards most people accept for farting near strangers, as opposed to the “pull my finger” routine I see some guys adopt with their partners.

Yeah we don’t have that routine and I was trying to just be funny.

Going on 28 yrs for me & the Mrs. Nemesis.
One of our things is that we pay a mthly fee for a local wine club that includes 1 wine tasting at a place that's nearby. Since it is "use it or lose it" each mth, that's been a great motivator to keep at least 1 date night on the calendar.

Back before covid, we also set out a goal to visit every brewery in the area. Some of them were in other parts of town, so it was good to "get out of our local bubble" & see the variety out there. It was fun visiting almost 30 of them, & my beer knowledge increased 10-fold & I know which breweries I liked the best (and still to this day return to). Sadly, a handful of them have closed down as the market has changed.
