If you had to win one game out of two (1 Viewer)

Unlucky

Phenom
Hypothetically, you are betting on baseball everyday using a chase system. You're still up, but stuck a little and need to clear a big loss. Pick two games where you think you'll get at least one win. You don't have to win both, just one.

Which two do you like:

1. CIN at home vs. PIT on Sunday and Monday. (note, this would leave you/me with 1/2 of my bankroll, but essentially break me for all intents and purposes)

2. LAA at home vs. BAL on May 31st and June 1st (or possibly later in the series to pick the best pitching matchups)

3. BOS at home vs. NYY on June 1st and 2nd

4. CLE at CIN on June 8th and 9th

Remember, you only need to win ONE game of the two. Losing both would mean broke for the season.

This would be a crapshoot and clearly not sound money management...

It would depend alot on who the starters might be, the line etc. I would probably go with LAA and pick the best pitching matchup - but if that happens realize that you are laying serious odds and not getting even close to an even return on your money!

You have one non rivalry in that group where two teams are very unfamiliar with each other and that's the Baltimore LAA series. Baltimore will be a long way from home playing a better team. If that is the first leg of a roadtrip or the last I'd say that is a safe bet that the Angels will not lose two in a row. The other selections are less predictable IMO because of the familiarity factor and the ability for one rival to rise up on consecutive days to take out a guy they know pretty well.

LAA vs BAL No way BAL loses two in a row.Kidding.
Burres v EscobarCabrera v LackeyI can see Escobar losing a tough one and Cabrera pitching one of those Cy Young-esque games he gets once or twice a year.Probably wouldn't go BOS - it's Wang/Wakefield and Mussina/Tavares, so I can see the Yankees taking both of those.I don't know much about the NL to opine on the Cincy ones.
