Hello Footballguys! I am looking for some hep, well 8-15 minutes of your time, if you live in California or London, England. Long story short, my girlfriend is doing a health psychology program at the University of Westminster in London. She needs more participants in a survey for gathering data in part of her masters thesis. We both moved over here from Northern California to complete masters degrees and hers is generally about exercise and cultural predictors that lead towards it. When we moved over here we saw quite a different attitude towards exercise and she decided to focus on that with her thesis. So, if you have an extra 8-15 minutes, we would appreciate it if you took the survey, but remember you have to live in California. The link is down below and thanks.

Let me guess, people exercise more in Cali?

I bet, weather's wonderful great locales, hills, beaches, hiking, all kinds of terrain, gorgeous girls out and about.

Thanks for the help guys! Since moving we have noticed that it's not so much people exercise more or less, since there are a ton of great parks here and the weather does have openings for exercise, but just culturally it's not a topic of discussion nearly as much.

They just opened an In N' Out a quarter mile away from me. Your survey didnt address this.

Those quarter mile walks every day counts as exercise right?

Live in Cali.

I like the sequence of "Were you a student in 2015" followed by "do you drink alcohol?" hahaha.

Hope it helps.

Did it.

Several duplicate questions it seemed
This is because her survey has three parts essentially. She used a social support survey, exercise benifits/barriers scale survey, and a third one she made for questions like alcohol, age, etc. She couldnt remove any questions from the sections that already had validity or the survey results wouldn't be official. Basically if she didn't want to test her survey over and over again for validity she had to have a good portion already pass validity tests.

I did it. I will admit the last set of questions didn't seem correlated with the exercise questions. Could you explain that relationship a little more?

I believe that was the social support section but im not positive since I have taken the survey once and just talked with her about it. That section is designed more to see if people have a support system in life or feel resposibile for other people and then to see if that correlates with exercise occurrences. At least that's what I thought it was for.
