If you needed a DT, who would you take and why?

Let's not be silly: Dorsey. Ellis is a quality player for sure, and will clog lanes and collapse the pocket very well for years to come. But Dorsey has the athleticism to do a lot more then that, which is a very valuable thing.

 
Word out of the Senior Bowl is that Ellis looks terrific.

If it were me, and his knee checked out, I'd still take Dorsey first.

I love watching both play and would be happy with either to be honest.
 
Why wouldn't it surprise me if the Patriots took Ellis with the 1.07 pick and used him in a platoon with Wilfork and also allowed the Patriots to occasionally go to a 4-3 from their base 3-4?

I think he's a waste purely at 3-4 NT but he's a talented player and they could use him in different ways.
