I think Nationals pitcher Lannan goes up against the Giants tonight. If I were in his position, and I was to give up the record breaking homer to Bonds, I think it would be kind of cool -- your name would forever be attached to Bonds and the record, even if the rest of your career fades away to obscurity.

I think the drive to be an athlete on that level implies a serious competitiveness.I am overstating however.
