honorable mention is just plain foolishness around here. It's dynasty thoughts carried over into redraft leagues.Anquan and Andre off the list, cmon now

1) R.Moss

2) T.Owens

3) A.Johnson

4) R.Wayne

5) B.Edwards

6) M.Colston

7) T.Holt

8) L.Fitzgerald

9) A.Boldin

10) S.Smith (CAR)

My best guess, with what we know right now. 3-6 could be any of those guys, but I could see Braylon coming back to earth a tad if Quinn takes over the reins. Don't forget about Steve Smith.

1. Randy Moss (assuming he is still in NE)

2. Braylons Edwards (assuming Derek Anderson is still in Cleveland)

3. Reggie Wayne

4. Chad Johnson (assuming he is still in Cincy)

5. Steve Smith

6. Andre Johnson

7. TO (another year older, another year with an injury)

8. Larry Fitzgerald

9. Colston

10. Housh (especially if CJ isnt in Cincinatti)

* Brandon Marshall (Has to do it for more than one season)

* Torry Holt (no where to go but down)

* Burress (a top ten guy as well but not ahead of anyone else on the list)

I don't see how anyone could draft Welker as a WR1. He's a very solid receiver, but he'd be much better as a 2-3. He's been the benefactor of inflated statistics in New England, and anyone who takes him inside the top 10 is gambling.

D.J. Hackett will be one of the best value plays of '08.

He won't show up on any preseason Top-10 lists, but he'll be there on the final leaderboard.... no matter the scoring system.

I think that's possible, but not necessarily probable. I can't help but downgrade him because of potential injuries and there's a lot of talent at receiver for that team. Also, they'd like to get their running game going, so if that happens next year you'll see fewer passes. He'd be a guy I'd like as a value backup, but I wouldn't want to start 2008 with him as a starter. I could see him finishing top 10, or well out of the top 20.

People have been undervaluing T.O. for a couple years now and all he does is what he's always done - produce top three numbers and dominate games.

DJ Hackett will never sniff the top ten when he can't even unseat Bobby Engram as Hasselbeck's go-to receiver.

So long as Randy stays in New England, Wes Welker will overperform his draft position in PPR leagues.

Andre Johnson is a big omission. I agree with Welker in PPR and would include Boldin as well. In general there are are probably 6-10 other WRs you could make a strong case for. With a little luck, any from the "top 20" could jump into the "top 10".Holt and TO scare me a little due to health/age concerns, although this is less of a concern in redraft. The CJ/TJ Housh situation could have a different shape next season if the past rumors of a trade prove to be accurate.

#1 - Randy Moss (if he stays in NE)

#2 - Terrell Owens

#3 - Braylon Edwards (as long as BQ is not the starter)

#4 - Reggie Wayne

#5 - Plaxico Burress - Had a pretty good season this year and was hurt for a majority of it

#6 - TJ Housh -

#7 - Marques Colston - I doubt the Saints offense will have another crappy start to their season

#8 - Craig Jennings - (if Favre comes back)

#9 - Andre Johnson

#10 - Larry Fitzgerald - Could easily fall out of the top 10 if ML is the starter

Guys that could move into the top 10 if some of the above changes happen:

Brandon Marshall - Steve Smith - Chad Johnson

I'd remove Welker and add Greg Jennings. He's a soon-to-be superstar in this league..in no WAY will Welker repeat those numbers in 2008, and in no way will Brady come close to 50 TDs again.

Craig Jennings is definitely a sleeper to make this list. Oops, I was thinking of Peter Jennings.

I love Fitzgerald and have him on my dynasty squad. BUT with Leinart starting I will not be touching him in redraft.
this is a :goodposting: There are several threads on the play of Fitzgerald and Boldin with and without Leinart. If anyone would like me to dig one up, please let me know. It will be interesting to see if Whisenhunt has the guts to go with Warner if Leinart is healthy.

I could come up with about 58 reasons why Hackett might not be a Top-10 guy before I got to Bobby Engram.Branch doesn't matter. Engram doesn't matter. How come there are enough balls to go around in Cincinnati for T.J. and Chad, and there are enough balls to go around for Wayne and Harrison, but that's now an issue for Hackett on a team which will be throwing just as much.
