If you were forced to drive 1 of these 3 cars, which would you choose? (1 Viewer)

You dont have a choice. You have to drive one. Which do you choose?

I have never driven the others, but I have driven my sister's Prius. It is not bad to drive.
That's the only one Ive driven too and I didnt really like the drive. The Ioniq is supposed to be a breakthrough driving experience for a hybrid. Dont really know much about the Kia.

Not expecting anyone to LOVE this car, just trying to figure out which is the least offensive to drive and be seen in.

Whichever one will throw in a set of testes as part of the deal.

Other:  VW Jetta Hybrid.  Use this as my commuter car when I take the Long Island Expressway and have Clean Pass to go in the HOV lane without an additional passenger.  Had Prius before that and the Jetta blows it away.  Get about 46 MPG.

They are all kinda ugly but the Kia Niro looks the best.

Toyota Prius for the reliability and resale value.

Hmmm....

I guess the Niro. Probably gives me the best option of getting poon again someday.

They stopped making these. They were also more expensive and reported to get closer to 42MPG. I do like them better though.

Pretty sure the Hyundai and Kia are the same platform...

Like asking which would you rather drive, a Ford Taurus or Mercury Sable...  Chevy Cavalier or Pontiac Sunfire..

This is not your poon-getting vehicle, this is a company car that your employer is forcing you to drive.
Oh....so price, reliability, etc really mean nothing then.

I would probably choose whatever has the highest safety rating and is nost comfortable inside.

Not the case. These will be company cars for our employees. I am aware that most of them are not going to be wild about the idea of driving one of these cars, so Im hoping to get the least offensive of the cheap hybrids. Price and reliability do mean something, but if I were basing it solely on that, Id choose the Prius and be done.

Go with the most cargo space - eyeball test looks to be the Kia.

I have had plug in hybrids as company cars, as well as a Mustang. Small trunks are the worst.

Always take the biggest vehicle they offer (assuming you don't pay for gas).

Oh, so YOU own the business? I meant that the price/cost mean nothing to the employee driving because they aren't paying for it.

Hmmm...is it maybe something you can discuss with them? Or would you rather it just be "here's your company car"?

How big is the company?  Have you looked at the Ford C-Max?  Let me know if you need a fleet contact.

We are picking cars to buy solely based on looks now?? Are we females??
I feel like the look of the vehicle will have a lot to do with the morale of the employees being forced to drive it. Its also a reflection of the company, so yes, looks are at least a part of the consideration.

I was possibly going to buy the Niro but it was not out yet when I did buy a car. It looked promising although I did not test drive it or anything like that. Gas mileage was a main reason for looking into it. I ended up buying a Chevy Cruze Hatchback... still gets good gas mileage but the trunk is a bit smaller than I was hoping. I used to have a 2007 Chevy Cobalt.

How many yachts do you own?

I've driven one kia in my life and hated it.  Company paid training for a week.  So I'm biased against kia from the start.

I drive a Toyota now (highlander) and love it, 142k miles in and going strong.  So more bias.

But man, 77mpg is a legit argument in favor of the kia. Would have to test drive at least (and I probably will when time comes to get a 3rd vehicle).

Spitballing, I'm voting prius but am willing to be convinced otherwise.

The Toyota is probably the smartest choice in regards to resale value and overall reliability in my opinion.   I'm not a super big fan of its styling--but then again--I'm not a fan of the styling on the Ionic either (it's not bad--but I personally don't think it's far more cosmetically appealing than the Prius).  The Niro looks like it plays as almost a compact crossover vehicle which certainly is different than the other two.    I tend to like the styling of the Niro the best--but I prefer the pedigree of Toyota.   I'd probably go Prius first by a nominal margin, Niro second, and Ionic would be third for me.

I drove a Prius Wagon (V) as a loaner once.  It was like driving a golf cart.  Maybe they're all like that.  Idunno.

If someone were just giving me a car to drive, and I didn't have to worry about reliability and resale value I would take the Ioniq all day long between these three options.

If I were buying I would consider the Prius as well, but would also strongly consider the Ioniq.  The Prius sure has gotten ugly.
