I'm NEVER drinking Monster energy drinks again! NEVER! (1 Viewer)

I thought the Monster logo was clever formation of the three nails that were used nail Jesus to the cross. Really, I thought it was a Christian thing.

Thankfully this lady came along to set the record straight.

Regardless of their terrible energy drink, my only regret is that I didn't get in on the IPO

edit: although damn, what happened in 2006, that's one of the most severe drops i've ever seen in one fell swoop for a stock

I don't always enjoy energy drinks, but when I do I drink these:

too many calories

Energy drinks are terrible for your teeth, but if I'm going to get one, I go for either a red bull sugar free, or just go with a 1/2 of a 5 hour energy. Both choices designed to just limit exposure to my teeth.

Really, a caffeine pill and a Vitamin B Complex are the real values for your energy needs.... all the effect for a fraction of the money

I drink these for the taste. And 210 calories a day ain't going to break me.

fine, but think about the money.. if you took the difference of what you spend on these vs. my caffeine pill and B vitamin idea.. and invested the difference.... you could be talking about shaving hours if not DAYS off your retirement age

Valid point.

Here is some hilarious irony. At the 1:05 mark, the protesters start yelling the Lord's prayer...FORGIVE US OUR TRESPASSES, AS WE FORGIVE THOSE THAT TRESPASS AGAINST US....

I was wondering why over the past 10 years I've gained 260 pounds. :o

Yeah, this is why you should never spend money on anything.

:lmao:

FWIW, I rarely drink energy drinks but that has nothing to do with 1/2 lb per week. They do cost more than I'd like to pay but if people really like them and don't overindulge elsewhere, there's worse things you could spend your money on.

Maybe, but why not just drink coffee and eat well?

I don't like coffee. Never did. Even after living ten years in Brazil I still never got it. The smell is nice, the taste foul.

So for me a caffeine pill works wonders because my body is not used to the effect.

I would say to stop drinking bad coffee, but if Brazil didn't cut it you're hopeless ;)
