I'm starting _______ over _______ in week 1 (1 Viewer)

These were very helpful for me last season to see the decisions that many owners had already made. This is not meant to be a WDIS thread in any way.

Some tough calls I have made--

Portis over SJax (PPR)

Chris Johnson over McFadden (non PPR)

I have a few others that I will save since I can't decide yet.

Ricky W. over McFadden in one leage.

Kevin Smith over Ricky and McFadden in another.

Kitna over Favre.

Burleson over Grant and J. Stewart in the flex

R. Williams over Grant and J.Stewart at rb#2

A little odd for me as I am normally a start rb guy

Kitna over Hasselbeck

Coles over MoMo in a flex spot

And my decision of the week......

Vincent Jackson over Anthony Gonzalez. Yes after flip flopping all week I think I have finally settled on VJax.

Thomas Jones over Jamal Lewis.

Don't like Lewis vs Cowboys Def and if they are playing catch-up Lewis sees the ball less.

With T. Jones, you get Favre mixing it up and I see the passing game setting up the running game. Plus you've got to like the tasty match up vs. The Fins.

I'm not following this one? Johnson against JAC over McFadden against DEN?Seems pretty straight forward to me...what is your thinking here?

thanks

Chris Johnson over Grant, Deangelo Williams, stewart in PPR

Coles, T.Jones over J.Lewis in PPR

Warner over Roethlisberger

T.Hightower over Felix Jones, A.Green as RB3

I'm a Browns homer but I like this move. Cleveland game will be a shoot-out and Browns won't be running a whole lot.I am starting Turner as well and I look for 140 yards and a long touchdown.

M. Turner over J. Lewis

Ginn over Santana Moss as a #WR3. Until they give me a reason to think otherwise, I don't trust Moss or the Redskins passing offense. Also if there is any week to play a Dolphins WR it would be this week. Pennington can't be happy about the way he was cast aside after all those years with the Jets and he's going to want to prove that he's still a good QB.

Bowe vs. NE instead of Burleson vs. Buffalo

Also, I'm surprised so many people are hesitant to start McFaddon this week.

Ricky Williams over Ryan Grant in a non PPR money league.

Starting Eli Manning against Washington over Carson Palmer against Baltimore.

Following my gut on this one.....

Also, starting Lynch and Turner sitting Edge, who has a good matchup against San Fran.

McFadden over Jacobs at RB2.

Crayton over Welker or Dwayne Bowe at WR2. (I'll be second-guessing this one right up until kickoff.)

Tough call. PPR you gotta go welker there. Bowe will be seeing a lot of action as KC will be playing from behind

Wow. some of the ones I have read are just dumb. Thus far JT over Big Ben tops the list. That's just giving away points.

I am going with Warner and Favre in my 2QB league over Eli just because I think that Warner is going to go nuts against San Fran to show he really deserves the job.

I am starting either Chris Perry or Chris Johnson over Ryan Grant if he can't go. The amount of "starting CJ over _____" in this thread makes me think I should go with Perry.

Well, I also have an opportunity to start O'Sullivan ahead of Eli in another league. Maybe it's a little less insane (or "dumb", to use your word) to make that move and keep Ben R in my starting lineup...? (No need to respond to the rhetorical question -- I don't want this to turn into a "WDIS?" thread.)
