I'm with you. After I first heard about Amendola and Vereen I was thinking Thompkins would absolutely blow up this week. Then after thinking about it, he's the guy that Cromartie will be on. I think Thompkins is going to have a great season and I think he will be the Pats best WR that's not a slot guy and be startable every week soon, but he choked a little Week 1, which is understandable. Now it's week 2 and I'd normally expect a bounce back game, but he's going to have one of the best corners in the league on him. Logic says that he has to get tons of targets this week, but I think BB is too smart for this and his gameplan is completely changed.FYI for what it's worth I have decided to bench thompkins in all leagues tonight in favor of James jones and michael Floyd.
After much consideration, while I believe that the lack of offensive weapons for the oats tonight should normally bode well for thompkins, as the pats greatest big play threat he is going to have cromartie draped all over him tonight. And I don't think thompkins is anywhere near capable of winning that matchup at this stage of his career. He looked like a lost puppy out there last week.
He could just as easily explode and live up to expectations tonight, going back to the guy that wowed everyone in their 3rd preseason game and looking more like a seasoned veteran...
But if that happens it will happen on my bench and I'm ok with it.
Nope but I would put Cro one on one with him and then roll coverage towards edelman. Is It A SureThing He's Being Covered By Cro?
I dont know if its a sure thing but Edelman will be moved around and will play inside. Thompkins will play exclusively outside and that is typically cromartie territory. Is It A SureThing He's Being Covered By Cro?
I want to get him in my lineup, but the only guy I can realistically bench for him is Miles Austin, who had 10 catches last week. I think I'm going with the "let's not take Fantasy Football too seriously" and just throw Thompkins in.Vegas props for Thompkins has his o/u at 5.5 for receptions and 75.5 for receiving yards
I would not do that. Hill might do well, but If it were b/w he and thompkins for me its thompkins...he has brady throwing to him...Somebody talk me off the ledge. I just replaced him with Stephen Hill...
Bowe no, brown...well...maybe...pitt offense is in shambles.Would you start over D Bowe or A Brown?
I know that but Dobson is back and the weather isn't good. I seriously doubt he is seeing 14 targets again and all the Jets have is gimpy Santonio Holmes with Kerley out.I would not do that. Hill might do well, but If it were b/w he and thompkins for me its thompkins...he has brady throwing to him...Somebody talk me off the ledge. I just replaced him with Stephen Hill...
Little gunshy after getting burned by BB with Sudfeld........KT>A Brown?Bowe no, brown...well...maybe...pitt offense is in shambles.Would you start over D Bowe or A Brown?
7:57 p.m.: I’ve received some questions about whether Kenbrell Thompkins is starting. Judging by pregame warmups: yes. Along with Stevan Ridley, Julian Edelman, James Develin and Michael Hoomanawanui.Mike Wallace or kenbrell ppr league?
BTW
Dobson listed as the number 2...

He is cut after this week, I seen enough after one game and 1 play. Horrible route on a go, he would have a TD.he ran the wrong route on his first target...
Why? Brady needs some bodies out there and he will ifnd open receivers. Think how Demaryius looked early on in that Denver game last Thursday. And this is exactly what I feared. Dobson
57 minutes left, in all likely hood they both have good games imo.Phenix said:Oh and to all the target junkies who obviously are clueless
Dobson has 1 target for 1 catch and 39 yards with 1 score.
KT has 15 targets for 4 catches and 42 yards and 0 scores
Take your targets and shove em.
Cut him as soon as you can.Why did I start this clown - he's useless now... Imagine how useless he is when Gronk vereen and glassdola are on the field
Yup..and Dobson with the dropsies helps.Becoming a salvagable start... couple more please.
Of all the grammatical errors, this one always seems most indicative of someone who is either really uneducated/unintelligent, or ghetto and proud. It's a verbal neck tattoo.I seen enough
