I'm starting Wes Welker over____________________________ (1 Viewer)

Welker has been talked up this week by many.

1. Stallworth may be gimpy

2. Watson out

3. RBs depleted

4. Terrible MIA sec.

5 BB apparently likes to get guys the ball against their ex-teams.

But, I've also seen posts from NE homers who say this may be a week that he does NOT go off.

... over Santonio Holmes and Brandon Marshall.

These even with the news that Maroney and Stallworth are playing. PIT will run the ball and limit Ben's passes in the snow. Holmes may get a long TD, but I'd rather have the 5-8 catches by Welker for sure points. And Denver will struggle withouth Walker. Marshall will get double covered by PIT, one of the best defenses around.

Am I playing around with matchups too much if I start him over Lynch vs. BAL or Fitz. vs. WAS? And what about Engram vs. STL?

Yeah, I think you are playing the matchups too much.

If I could get the Cards to trade Fitzgerald to Washington, I'd definitely start him.

Starting him over Lee Evans and Calvin Johnson. Sick of Evans' performances this year and not sure what to expect from Calvin coming back from injury.

Once again, I'd like some proof to this comment. Examples or a link might be helpful but just seems too easy to assume he will have a big day since he's playing his former team.

Well, then we need to get everyone off the "Willis McGahee will have a big game over the Bills" bandwagon as well.I heard the comment on NFL Network's AFC Playbook - I think it was Sterling Sharpe.
