I agree with this. Polian and Dungy, 2 of the most overrated gents in football.
This, plus just bad plays in general. Jerome Bettis fumbles and the guy that picked it up ran towards Roethlisberger, who was the only guy that could catch him. A couple of horrible games against the Chargers, and the Patriots.You could argue the one Super Bowl they won was lucky, their defense was horrid that year and everyone predicted another first round exit against Larry Johnson and the Chiefs, this was a team that gave almost 200 yards rushing to Ron Dayne a couple weeks before, but Bob Sanders magically comes back for the playoffs and despite Peyton playing poorly in the first couple of games the defense turned into the 85 Bears. Then they played well during a nice comeback against the Patriots, only to face Rex Grossman and one of the worst teams to make a Superbowl ever.
