Injured Reserve = IR or Out (1 Viewer)

I thought I found a thread here a few years ago - my league uses an IR which IR or out per NFL.

A player with Vick wants to know what happens if Vick is suspended - I say that this does NOT equal an IR spot - had backup from other leagues but, of course, cannot find that now.

IMO 4 game suspensions you're stuck, yearly thing is debatable.

That's fine....IF it is in your rules. But if not, allowing it after the fact is wrong.

I am going by the NFL Injury reports that come from my site (MFL) - they have stated that if I have defined IR as OUT or IR - suspended players don't go on that NFL list - therefore, we don't allow it - just trying to see what others think - thanks all!

Of course it's in the rules. Allowing for anything after the fact is wrong. That is why it's so important to have a comprehensive rules document.

I figured you had it in your rules. My comment was more a general opinion that basically says if it is not currently in anyones rules, then too bad for the Vick owner. GREAT point about how important it is to have comprehensive rules that cover things like this.
