COlin might very well be the real deal but he is getting overhyped right now. Laying 7.5 to a division rival on the road is a lot. COlin won't have the luxury of surprising the Rams this time and you know Fischer will have them ready for him. Rams have a good pass rush (4th in sacks) so I expect they force some key mistakes from the young Tattoo. This isn't the Saints D and he's not going against 65 year-old washed-up Jason Campbell. The 9ers D has had as much (or more) to do with those wins as anything.

9ers have to hit the road again after that big game in New Orleans. Fischer -- who I love in this position -- will have STL geared up for an upset. Rams are not an easy out to begin with and they appear to be headed in the right direction. I can see them winning outright.

Public is all over the 9ers, of course, which just seals it, IMO HTH TIA WILL ANSWER YOURS.

Let's say we all enjoy a cold adult beverage tomorrow after the big win, K??? :banned:

Carolina -3
The Chiefs either get smoked because of the distraction, or, as a team, they play lights out for their teammate that took his own life and that of another. I do not see anything in between, so Carolina minus the points seems like a really good bet right now.

I would love to see the Rams burst that little Kaepernick bubble. The Cards appear to be the new Chiefs.
You could argue he's had it kind of easy when you dig it into it a little more. Or at least things unfolded nicely for him (STL clueless, Cutler out, Brees handing over 2 TDs).The MNF game was against an overrated Bears team and 72 year-old Jason Campbell with no O-line...at home. It was over at half. Chicago had one possession with more than 3 plays in the first half and I wouldn't call their D that night inspired. He did capitalize however, and that was his best half of football, imo.The Saints game was more of the same with a dominate SF D...2 pick 6's being the difference. And the new King was crowned. Nice to get to face that Saints D, too; what are they last? Granted, it was in the Dome, I'll give him that.BTW, should Harbaugh -- and I dig Harbaugh, he has great skin -- but should he have showed his hand on Wednesday? I know he said he did it so his guys didn't have to deal with it anymore, but still.

just booked it ...

Hope the Rams have enough kick to not fade in the stretch, and can deliver the backdoor cover :banned:

Bears -3 1/2 seems like a ridiculous overlay. While it's true Seattle has actually won there 2 of the last 3 times they've gone to Chicago, they are truly an awful road team and they are missing 2 of their best defensive players. Seems ridiculous to me.

I thought Sherman and Browner appealed and are playing this weekend... :unsure:Yep:ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on Monday Countdown that Seahawks CBs Richard Sherman and Brandon Browner will be available for Week 13 against the Bears. It's too bad for Jay Cutler & Co. Per Schefter, Browner and Sherman's appeals of their four-game suspensions will not be heard until next week at soonest, so they'll both be available for the Bears game. At least partially because the Seahawks have playoff aspirations, Sherman and Browner are fighting the four-game bans rather than accepting them and returning in Week 17. Maybe they are - that wasn't last week? Anyway regardless they are a completely different team on the road.-QG

I do agree with your assessment however, FWIW. Was just confused by the Browner/Sherman reference and had to check that for myself

Cool. Another one. Bet on Seattle then.

I would like to add to my locks of the week. Cincy giving 1 to the Chargers. Jags getting 6 from the Bills and the over on the Giants and Redskins at 51

Still haven't looked at the game, so I'll give you 5 more minutes, regardless of what happens, I'm not going to look, I'll go in blind.

Sorry. Didn't check back in time.

I didn't realize your big mouth guy was an actual offer to bet...

 Kudos, good sir. Excellent call, excellent analysis.

I didn't see who won the OT coin toss, but I am intrigued that b/c of the way the new OT works if St Louis got the ball first in OT, the spread victory would be clinched right there. But if SF got the ball first, they still could have covered (FG on opening drive followed by a defensive TD)

Odds are very unlikely though

Sure but still kinda intriguing that a coin toss can actually settle whether or not a team covers.-QG
