Interesting QB WW pickups out there... (1 Viewer)

My league does QB scoring differently to offset RBs. QBs get 1pt/10yds, 6pt/TD, -2pt/INT or FL. Looking at the WW this week there's some interesting QB pickups probably out there. Disclosure...I picked up Griese as a flyer, but there are a few guys that actually look intriguing as QB 2 or 3.

Griese...looked sharp in the preseason...has had some issues, but has also had some good games too. Probably affects Muhsin Muhammad and the TEs more than anything else.

Harrington....three 200yd games...improvement in each one...emergence of Roddy White.

Carr...never had time or line in Houston. Could Carolina be the change of venue he needs? Gets a look this week against a surprising Indy defense with a healthy Bob Sanders.

Warner...just can't see them benching Leinart for Warner...but Warner looked sharp in the 2nd half.

Anderson...after another rough start, looked solid in the 2nd half against a decent Oakland Defense and got CLE into position to win. Holds off Quinn for another week.

Thoughts?

Indy play Denver.Carolina play Tampa

Griese, Carr, Harrington, Warner...it's like a bad flashback to 2003!

Of these I think you have to like Griese and Harrington as the best opportunity for long term success.

I found myself with these same options and picked up Harrington because I felt he had the best matchup during Kitna's bye. That means Atlanta will probably debut Leftwhich on Monday night that week.

Warner looked STL Rams good last Sunday. Makes you remember how good he once was. (and still can be)

Even if Warner is the superior option, no way they bench Leinart. If there was even a slim shot Warner would take over, I'd put him far ahead of the others.

what about daunte? how can you overlook him. no later than the 3rd qb drafted the past 6 years
