INTERNET CLASS ACTION SUIT (1 Viewer)

Bo Skiboski

Footballguy
I am told by someone who attended law classes that we can all join together (as fans) in a class action suit against the league for costing us our games. I lost a little tonight but most of all I lost respect for the game and league I love the most. I ask that you join me in this class action suit thread and let's get the integrity back into our sport by way of internet legal motion. Post here and if we get 5000 posts then it's a legitimate complaint from what I'm told and I will print it out and mail it to the league (and email it).

An official complaint? Jerry Jones gives a #### about that.

Why don't you and the 4999 others all cancel Sunday ticket and boycott the season. That would be $10 million in lost revenue, or 4 and a half times what it would cost the NFL to pay what the officials are asking.

People still pay for Sunday Ticket?

:lmao:

Did that someone that told you that sleep at a Holiday Inn Express also? Sue on what grounds? They are giving you a product to watch, whether or not you choose to watch it is totally up to you. Boycotting is one thing, but to sue someone over this, get real man.

Sho nuff and Reepacheep should come and whip your ### for making Packer fans look bad. Go sleep it off.

I took a business law class in college 8 years ago and in my professional opinion you can't create a class action lawsuit.

Ummmm, "Cost us our games?"

Good luck with that seeing as how the NFL providing replacement refs is exactly the opposite of what the complaint is about.

As a fan and a lawyer, do not ever higher this guy to even try to get you out of a parking ticket, my hunch is he does not know the law.

Suing the NFL because you do not like the calls, lmfao, priceless.

But I bet he knows how to spell "hire".
Missed my take at sarcasm there, I should of used quotes or italic I guess, I meant the dude who said try to take it to court was "HIGH." But meh, still should of made that more clear I guess.

Sure, that's half of the equation - lots and lots of people with the same complaint. The other half is finding a lawyer who won't laugh at you is willing to represent the case.

....suit against the league for costing us our games.
Good luck.
Objection. Packers refer to the fans that bought their worthless stock as shareholders so in their mind they own a part of the team. Therefore, the league is costing them games. I feel like Charle from All Sunny in Philly after writing that.

I figured the OP was referring to his fantasy games due to this post.

I've been practicing law for 15 years. I see a Rule 12(b)(6) motion in your future (motion to dismiss for failure to state a legitimate claim). If the NFL shows some self restraint, they won't file a Rule 11 motion against you (sanctions for filing a frivolous claim).

This is ridiculous and a waste of time. It has no validity.

Was it Woz?

This is truly pathetic. It's like people don't even care anymore. A few years ago this petition would have had 100+ signatures by now.
I think you are misunderstanding. If this was a petition to re-instate the union refs then yes, it would probably have a lot of support. But the OP is trying to start a lawsuit against the NFL because he lost money gambling on fantasy football.

Guys from what I am told if you have an internet petition and it gets 5000 people behind it the complaint will be heard by the internet court. There is a judge and everything. The maximum monetary award if 25,000 so we're looking at only 5 bucks each but it's about the principle and not the money. Forward this to your friends, get it out there on social media. We could make the news but nightfall. My friend says it costs $189 to file a case and he will pay it and then be paid only if the suit is a winner. No risk to sign up.
