Does anyone else hope for a big week out of your opponents players the week BEFORE you play them?

In our league this year, the trend has been that if all your players perform extremely well one week, they tend to be more flat the following week. If you can squeak out a win and advance without your players performing very well, you're due for a big week.

Does the law of averages come into play?

I think it really depends on your team/players, but in general Id say no. Stuff like this really killed past teams and I finally realized something thats necessary to have a playoff team and almost always to win it all

YOU NEED CONSISTENCY

I stayed away from guys like Chambers, Jordan, Santana Moss, and JJones who seem to put up a couple 2-3 TD games a year but seem to disappear for weeks at a time.

Was I hoping Rudi or Wayne didn't have good game last night? No, because they have been great for me basically week in week out

Im now sitting in the championship games because guys like Rudi, Wayne, Plaxico, Gore, and MB3 have been getting me points every week and for the most part never have terrible games (MB3 did 2 weeks ago).

Every year from here on out this will definitely be one of if not the most important deciding factor when im deciding between 2-3 players come draft day.
