Is Chester Taylor better than FWP? (1 Viewer)

Thus far Chester has looked good and has been given ample touches (even on the goal line). Min has shown that they can rush against good defenses and have a sweet playoff special.

FWP gets many rushing opportunities as well but comes out on passing situations (he didn't play the last couple series against Jax). Pitt has a great Defense to give the team good field position, but there is the threat that he may lose goal line touches to other RBs in the system.

What are your thoughts?

If I had to pick between the two, I would go with Chester based on schedule and passing catching opertunities ....

Chester is better. Now that it is clear that Taylor will get the full load at Minny, he has the better outlook for the rest of the year. Aside from two games with Chicago and possibly one other tough game, Taylor's schedule is pretty favorable.

Tough call... I love both of them but Chester seems to be in a better position to succeed given all the "lathering" he's getting.

When Taylor signed with Minny, I traded FWP for Taylor, the deal was done in less than 5 mins. :banned:

I got to give Taylor the nod in this one FWP is not catching any passes and it seems like Cowher wants to limit his carries based off what he did in the first week so I am expecting lesser touches for Parker. Chester Taylor is on the field all plays pretty much while Parker is pretty much off to the bench on most 3rd downs  . Parker should be on the field for most passing downs he is much quicker than Haynes so screen passes to him would be nice too bad the Steelers are not taking advantage of his 4.3 speed.

I would vote for Chester as well. FWP seems to have the tendancy to throw out a dud game. Chester is getting a healthy dose of carries, and seems to be able to put up decent fantasy points, even against tough defenses.

:hifive: The signing of Taylor allowed me the flexibility to trade away FWP. It was a risk, but it looks like it will pay off.
