Before I plopped down $25 I wanted to know if the site is worth it... is it better than espn's, si, kffl, and all those other sites?
yes, everybody from newbies to seasoned "experts" pay the 25...well worth it regardless of your level of expertise.
i won't tell on you rovers. i just enjoy the newsblogger and boards, but next yr i may join this site as well or maybe only here (ending a long allegiance over there).I havent seen any site that offers more info, is more customizable, or has a more informed staff than this one. This comes from one who had strong loyalties to another site based on many years there. Especially if you are an IDP player, but even without that, it isn't even close. I may have to change my screen name at that other site now....![]()
True dat, but i honestly believe we provide one of the best resources for you to get information - and I think our guys are some of the best at giving guidance.Do NOT follow us blindly. You certainly can do that and be a competitive fantasy player, but I think we are a site designed to provoke thought - not to do the thinking for you.We can help you improve your analytical skills regarding fantasy matters, but we expect you to use those skills to improve as a fantasy player. My selling point for FBGuys.com is this:I subscribed four years ago, and promptly won my big $$ league back to back (first back to back winner of the league. I also appeared in an unprecedented third straight super bowl (though I lost that game). I lost that game to our commissioner - who I had given a free FBG subscription that year. He then won our league back to back (second win was last year). Last year in the Super Bowl, he faced another league mate who I convinced to sign up.In short, in that league, the Super Bowl winner and loser of the last two Super Bowls were FBGuy.com subscribers, and the winner of the last four Super Bowls has been a FBGuy.com subscriber.'nuff said.Yes, but any information is still no better than the end user.
these posts HERE always strike me as weird. Before I plopped down $25 I wanted to know if the site is worth it... is it better than espn's, si, kffl, and all those other sites?
True, but...... how much are the braggin' rights worth? Is it worth it if you are paying $30 to join a league that has a total pot of $100-$200? Probably not.
They have outscored 32 teams.how is FBG.com doing in WCOFF?![]()

the tools like draft dominator are worth it.the analysis is only worth it if you are a n00b.
One of the things I like so much about FBG is the way they adapt their content based on users requests. A few years ago Dynasty and IDP content was not that great. After a lot of people showed interest the new IDP and Dynasty stuff is the best on the web IMO. I am a founding member of the Bloom for President club. He knows his stuff, and frankly, I can't watch all the clips and games he does so I rely on him to get me the info I need for my rookie drafts. And Bloom was a message board guy providing great info long before Joe and David got smart and brought him on board. I don't mean to single out one staff member (or make Mr. Bloom blush.) but this is just a great example of why this site continues to be the leader. They don't just sit back and rest on their laurels, they continue to bring us great stuff...
we are hiring if you would like to join :11:shuke has retired and we are looking for a replacement.how is FBG.com doing in WCOFF?
