Is it just me or is Saints GM Mickey Loomis (1 Viewer)

Take a look at the Saints draft picks that have been cut or traded:

WR Donte Stallworth (Rd 1, 2002)

DT Jonathan Sullivan (Rd 1, 2003)

LB Courtney Watson (Rd 2, 2004)

LB Cie Grant

I know Haslett's coaching takes some of the blame, but take a look at the Saints draft picks that have been cut or traded this offseason:

WR Donte Stallworth (Rd 1, 2002)

DT Jonathan Sullivan (Rd 1, 2003)

LB Courtney Watson (Rd 2, 2004)

That's 3 should-be starters by now that have been wasted. Any other Saints fans had enough of Loomis?

Donte Stallworth was a Randy Meuller selection.

After Randy Meuller was fired in May 2002, Jim Haslett had the last word on talent evaluation. Head scout Rick Meuller (Randy's brother) also had a huge amount of input. Loomis's expertise was in cap management, not in talent evaluation ... so most fans pointed fingers at Haslett when disappointed with recent draft picks.

What are you whining about...

The Bears have drafted Curtis Enis, Cade McNown, David Terrell, Rex Grossman, Michael Haynes and Cedric Benson in recent years in Round One. The only two worth a flip are Urlacher and Tommie Harris.

Have you seen the Cleveland Browns first rounders lately? LOL.....

Even though he was a aMueller pick, I'm not sure Stallworth qualifies as a "blown pick."

He's been a respectable WR2 the last two seasons and, IMO, has performed better than Lelie, the only other 1st round WR from his class.

Dude, it's the Saints. Think NY Islanders, KC Royals, LA Clippers...you get a ton of free passes.
