Obviously there have been weekends when big names have gone down. I just dont remember seeing so many in one day. Our WW closed today to.

 
This is when people start talking about the luck factor in FF. I do believe there is quite a bit of luck involved.

 
Worst day I can remember - Favre looks ok for next week.

Good thing for the NFL that Peyton and Brady haven't gotten hurt.

 
I was on my way home this evening listening to the radio to catch up on today's games. I couldn't believe the injury updates. I'm an Eagles fan, so it started off poorly when the first I heard was about McNabb. But the silver lining was that, if it had to happen, at least it was the week before I play my toughest competition who has him as QB. That lasted til the next update when I heard about Favre, who is MY QB in that league. :shrug:

Reports are that Favre will start next week. They said he had some nerve damage so I am not sure how they can be so sure about next week.
 
Prior to this week I was commenting on the lack of injuries, particularly at RB. Of the top RBs the only one who lost signifigant time is Alexander. All the averages caught up today.

Today has had to change a lot of playoff scenarios in FF. I was feeling pretty good about my chances until today. I still think I have a shot but man there are some teams in shock today. I dont think I have ever seen a day where teams futures were so drastically affected by injury.

:goodposting: Both my money leagues are tight and the past two weeks have thrown the playoffs into turmoil with all the major injuries. Usually the guys that win my leagues are the ones that dump all depth at the deadlines for stud up. Many tried it again this year. Not sure it will work with the names going down.

Definitely has for one guy in my league. Coming into today, he is in 5th at 6-4 with the 6th and 7th place teams and 4-6 (Top 6 make playoffs). Last week he lost Portis, this week he lost McNabb and Colston. Heres his team now (disregarding already mentioned):QB - none on roster besides McNabbRB - SJax, Tatum, Leon Washington, Betts, Dunn, JordanWR - Edwards, Glenn, MasonTE - GatesI dont give him a chance in hell now. If this was/happened to my team, I would likely pull a ricky williams and go to india for a year so i could smoke myself stupid and forget this ever happened before i tried to shoot somebody, most likely ray lewis
