Is it safe to start ANY DST against Carolina? (1 Viewer)

With their offensive line in shambles, their QB situation shaky, and RB situation a mess, can any DST put up big points against Carolina? TB seems like a great start week 10 given the situation.

I already picked up Baltimore to use against them next week; forward-thinking managers might want to do the same. :unsure:

Toughest call of the season coming up for me this Sunday. Giants against the Cowboys or Bucs against Car. I am leaning Bucs because we get extra pts for pts given up.

I picked up the Browns defense for the end of the year push, look who they play:

Week10 = Jets (14)

Week11 = Jacksonville (18)

Week12 = Carolina (32)

Week13 = Miami (28)

Week14 = Buffalo (26)

Week15 = Cinncinatti (17)

The ranking in offensive scoring is next to the teams they play. As well they haven't allowed a single team this year to score 30 or more on them this year. If your going to look for a defense on your WW that could surprise look no further

Yes, yes, yes.

@TB, BAL, @CLE, @SEA, ATL, ARI, @PIT

These aren't bad defenses. Bad defenses are houston, bills, jaguars, broncos, and patriots.

:goodposting: I've done both and am targeting the Falcons during the playoffs (should I actually qualify).

Pairing Falcons with either Tampa or Arizona should be money

Exact same situation. But I don't plan on holding on to the Giants too much longer. I might start them week 12 against the Jags but they don't have any great matchups after that. I'm gonna try to get lucky and grab Atlanta week 14 and Arizona the week after. Seattle might put up some decent numbers against the Panthers week 13 as well.

just grabbed both tampa and atlanta today for that very reason. car. / sea. / sea. playoffs. sweet

Panther concerns have to be concerned when their QB of the future gets pulled for Tony Pike.

It was that bad and Pike actually looked better.

I'm about to bail on the Titans D. I got lucky and picked up AZ D and gonna try to get Browns D this weekend. Check out these juicy matchups:

Week 10 Cards vs. Hawks

Week 11 Browns @ Jags

Week 12 Browns vs. Panthers

Week 13 Cards vs. Rams/ Browns @ Dolphins

Week 14 Browns @ Bills

Week 15 Cards @ Panthers

Week 16 Cards vs. Cowboys

Carolina has 26th rank running game in the NFL, no QB, no o-line

playing any def agains them is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I picked up the Bucs D (with the Packer D on bye) specifically to play Carolina.

Aqib Talib should get another pick six with Jimmy Clausen/Tony Pike under center.

I did this too earlier this week after last week waivers were processed.
