I'm in a 1/2 pt PPR redraft. This is not an Assistant Manager question. Just a general fantasy question.

Is it time to bench Ray Rice for like

Jamaal Charles or LeSean McCoy type RB's.???

Rice is just not cutting it.

Just a general fantasy question specifically regarding your roster?

Seriously. Take this [crap] elsewhere. AC Forum maybe? Not even a good job masking this one.

Rice was coming back from a knee injury, he was questionable to even play at all, and he was facing the Steelers defense. What were you expecting?

I think now is the wrong time to bench him personally. I am an owner and did bench him today for Bradshaw/McCoy. He has thus far faced NYJ, Cincy, Cleveland, and Pit Cleveland has done fairly well against the run this year (see Benson today), and I have to believe Rice would have had >100yds if he didn't suffer the knee injury.

Now look at the next 3 weeks: Den, NE, Buf

These are not exactly world beaters against the run. What's more, the primary goal line back (McGahee) just got injured today, so who knows how that plays out in weeks to come.

Have patience, and I bet you will be rewarded.

The Broncos just held some dude named Chris Johnson to 53 yard rushing and 11 yards receiving.

That's a valid point. I didn't think I realized how well the Broncos have been playing against the run. They did hold CJ in check today at Ten. I'm still optimistic next week with the game being in Baltimore, though. On top of that, no team Denver has played this year has had a threat from the ground and the air attack. Jacksonville has no air attack (and MJD is pedestrian thus far this year), Seattle has no running attack and only a decent passing attack, Indy has had real troubles on the ground, and Tennessee has no air attack whatsoever. Like I said, I like the road that lies ahead moreso than that which lies behind.

Today's game was in Tennessee.I agree with you that Rice has brighter days on the horizon, I'm just not sure it starts next week against a good running defense and a less than 100% knee.
