Hi,
I run a 12 team standard keeper league on www.myfantasyleague.com. Earlier today, I clicked on the "process waivers" tab, just to get an idea of how everything works in case I have to manually process waivers at some point. This is my first year using the site, which is awesome by the way. Anyway, when I clicked on it, I was able to see what players each owner requested. I noticed that 3 owners had incorrectly submitted claims, because they didn't select a player to drop, if they were to receive the new player off waivers. This would cause them to not get the player(s), due to invalid rosters. I emailed the owners, letting them know this and one of them got a little salty about it. He said that I could just see who he's requesting, and if I was lower in the waiver order, take that player. That whole notion is silly to me though, because I don't need to depend on other owners to know who to target on waivers. I've been playing fantasy for 9 years and have won 3 titles in this league. After telling him this, he said that everything was cool, but it could cause a "conflict of interest with people."
I just wanted to get some thoughts from other owners/commissioners on this topic. I honestly don't see it as an advantage for me.
Thanks,
Ryan
