Is mjd a sell high? (1 Viewer)

I own mjd and love the dude. I'm just starting to worry with all the carries he is receiving and the lack of tds, that possibly trying to move him for the likes of blount, sjax, or someone with a little fresher legs. I haven't seen a ton of the jaguars games this year, could anyone help me out with how he looks?

i'm actually trying to buy mjd. his second half schedule looks very good. two more things to consider, they're feeding him - he's one of a few rb's who actually get fed the ball 20+ per game, and you can't predict injuries. unless you have another stud rb, i would hold. just my two cents.

definately a hold on MJD. He just went through arguably the toughest RB schedule of all, and now things get alot easier. Hes a buy if anything.

traded him for demarco murray; higher ceiling than mjd. depends what you need.
MJD's ceiling is a Top 5 fantasy RB. That's what he's proven he can do. Not saying I expect him to get there this season (I don't) but I disagree that Murray has a higher ceiling.I agree with those who say MJD is a hold. Schedule gets easier the rest of the way and as was pointed out he's one of the few RBs in the league who you can book 20+ touches per game on a consistent basis. I wish the Jaguars used him more in the passing game but they stopped doing that last season and haven't changed anything this season even with Gabbert at QB. The fact that he's third in the NFL in rushing despite being his team's only legitimate offensive threat is pretty impressive. I'm definitely looking forward to the Week 10 matchup against the Colts.

I agree. Granted, MJD has historically secured his spot as "a hit away from being done for the season," but he has been solid this year despite the "ugly games" JAX has played. I suspect that owners who have him have insured this in one way or another, but for now he's well on his way to being in the Top 5. An absolute hold for owners who have him - worthy of a trade offer for those who don't and are in need. IMO any-whose...

What do you think his value is in a keeper league?
I know career workload is a highly debated topic on these boards, but as somebody who drafted MJD as a rookie and had him on my dynasty squad ever since, I do feel like he's an old 26. Already 1,550 career touches. Don't get me wrong I'm not looking for a reason to sell, but something tells me he's already on the back side. Wouldn't be shocked at all if he's no longer fantasy relevant by age 29 for whatever the reason.

This is nearly a ridiculous statement. Murray has a nice upside. No way is his ceiling higher than MJD. Based on talent alone. Even in a better offense. MJD has a top 5 ceiling. Murray does not based on everything up until this point. If he proves me (and I am sure a lot of other people) wrong, it will be quite the feat.

I'm sorry I just had to restate that saying Murray has a higher ceiling than MJD is simply outlandish.

As everyone has already stated... he just overcame probably the toughest RB schedule out there... and he did GREAT during it, considering. Now, his schedule is going to get much easier and you want to sell high? I just went out and bought low on him!
