Is Plaxico Burress the Jets #1 Fantasy WR this year? (1 Viewer)

So far, Plaxico looks like a bigger weapon and at least as important a part of the offense as Santonio Holmes. Will he continue to post better fantasy stats, especially given his prominence in the red zone?

Plaxico will most likely if he stays healthy get more TD's than Santonio Holmes because he is a big redzone target, somewhere in the 8-10 TD range, but will only end up in the 50-60 rec range... however Holmes will be much more consistent, and will have around 80 rec.....but more in the 6-8 TD range..... really just depends on your leagues scoring on which player is more valuable

I tend to think Consistency is far more valuable and would definitely take Holmes

So far, despite being new to the offense, Burress has been more consistent than Holmes (TDs in 2/3 games rather than 1/3, # of receptions in a tighter variance range). Why do you expect Holmes to be more consistent?
