Is there a Fantasy Equivalent To Trade Value Chart? (1 Viewer)

I know the NFL uses a chart based on points for teams that trade picks during draft. Is there one for fantasy purposes?

Footballguys used to have an app (on the website only) called the Trade Value Calculater...before apps were cool. Don't know if they still have it.

Thanks, Found the Pick Value Calc, I couldn't get the other link to work, i have an apple, maybe why

The calculators are nice, but I prefer to break trades down into dollar value.

Of course this depends on league structure...but consider a contract dynasty league with an annual cash allocation to be spent on FAs during the season and for RFA bidding in the offseason.

In my system I assign the 1.01 pick a year's cash allocation. That's a big assumption, saying that someone would give up a year's cash worth for the #pick, but you have to start somewhere, and to me the better question is: How much cash would it take for me to give up this pick.

I try to determine that amount at intervals throughout the draft. Then I graph the progression.

When I consider a trade I refer to the graph for dollar values of what's being offered versus what's being asked for. Then if someone is trying to make a cash + picks for picks deal I have a reference that fits. If someone wants to include a player, I have to consider what the player is worth under the yearly economic conditions of the league.

It's an inexact science, but I am not sure there's some what to make it exact.
