Is there any way to clear "Ghost notifications" on Twitter? (1 Viewer)

So annoying. I click on it, and it's the same notification I received two days ago. Then back to the home page.... still there.

Logging out and back in doesn't work.

I have never had that problem although I rarely use Twitter. I am assuming you are using the Twitter app? Ever tried anything else instead?

I have found Tweetdeck and Tweetcaster to be vastly superior to Twitter.
